About The Artist

I have been creating works of art since a young age. In elementary school, I remember making up fictional stories for my assignments, when they were meant to be nonfiction. I loved illustrating projects and other assignments and doodling on anything I could get my hands on. In sixth grade I was highly inspired by my best friend at the time to improve on my art and writing. I think if it weren't for her I would have eventually stopped drawing.

In middle school I continued to improve on my art and writing skills outside of my english and art classes. I began writing short stories and poems in my free time and drawing fanart. This was also when I started to explore digital art and web design. It was at that time I decided I wanted to be an artist/web designer.

When I reached High School I continued to doodle on my assignments and took art and computer classes. When my Electronics teacher found out I knew HTML, he asked me to teach the class a bit. I tried the best I could and most of the class seemed interested despite them being the most rowdy class I've ever had. I helped out a few of the more interested students individually after that. I started making websites for a variety of people, which gave me the opportunity to see what being a web designer would involve. I started to have a passion for photography as well and considered doing that as a career alongside web design.

Senior year I took a special Multimedia class that got me more involved in the art and web design industry. I started to get more interested in film making and considered that for a career for a short time. I had a lot of praise from my teachers and was really excited to graduate and get a career started. Long story short I ended up not going to college and got a retail job and although it was sort of art related it's not what I imagined I would be doing after High School. I went with it figuring I had to start somewhere. However, while working, art and designing went on hold. Every now and then I would do some form of art during that time but it wasn't as frequent as before.

In 2005 I moved with my family and decided to focus on improving my art. I started taking commissions and selling on eBay. Eventually I would like to illustrate children books and other things and maybe continue with freelance web design.

I hope you enjoyed learning about me and thank you for your interest in my work!
